How do I get to Koh Chang?
Busses run daily from Bangkok to Trat and even to the ferry. Most busses will take you there in a 4-5 hour journey. Taxi services from the Trat bus terminal will bring you to the ferry. If you should come in by plane and you are on the last plane, you do not need to worry; ferries will wait until you arrive from the airport. Minibusses provide the transport between the airport and the ferry.
Where is DivingS cool located?
Our centre is located, in Bang Bao on the southern part of Koh Chang. The school is only a short drive and a ferry ride from Trat airport.
What languages are spoken at the divecenter and in which can you follow a course?
We speak Nederlands, Deutsch, Français, English, Svenska and we teach in all of them.
Everyone, male, female aged 8 and above can learn to dive.
Yes it is possible to dive with a disability. Whoever can fulfill certain basic health conditions, can experience the feeling of absolute weightlessness .Diving is possible with a variety of disabilities. The only exceptions are people who are mentally challenged. In addition, participants should have no problems with their heart and circulatory, respiratory system, nasal sinuses and the ears.
How long will it take to learn diving?
You will need three to four days in order to complete the PADI Open Water Course
Is it possible to cover the theoretical part of the course at home?
Yes, eLearning is the ideal solution for those of you who do not whish to study on holiday. PADI eLearning provides you the option of covering the theory online and this for the Open Water, Advanced Open Water and the Enriched Air courses.
Am I insured while diving?
While following a course you will be insured under the cover of the teacher’s professional insurance. You will also be insured for the boat transport. However we do strongly recommend everyone who goes diving to get a DAN insurance.
What is the weather like at different times of the year?
As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The "hot season" is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The "rainy season" is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.
Is a baby sitting service available?
Yes, a babysitting service is available.

Payment is possible in cash and by credit card (VISA. Mastercard)

Can non-divers join the daytrips?
Yes, passengers and snorkellers are more then welcome on or trips, most dive sites offer great snorkelling
