Note, that due to changing weather patterns all over the world, also the local weather conditions have changed and it is becoming more and more difficult to bring you accurate weather forecasts.

Most people visit Koh Chang during the months of November until April, as you will have the best change of good, sunny weather. Although if you visit Koh Chang during the European school holidays, you will not have to sit inside your resort the entire length of your stay. Plenty of nice, sunny (overcast) days with an occasional afternoon shower have been recorded in the past.

During November till April, the dry season rules over the Koh Chang Archipelago , which brings us plenty of sun, steel-blue skies and an occasional (very local) rain shower to cool things down. A cooler period from mid-November till December is caused by the wind changing directions and blowing cooler air from the north-east towards the island. "Cool" is relative of course, but if you've been living here for a while anything below thirty feels cool. The third period is the green or rain season which starts the end of April and continues until half October. Rain can be heavy during this time of the year but it is by no means constant. You will have weeks with beautiful sunny weather, but expect to have a big downpour in the late afternoon or at night.
